HYPED Summer Internships
Outreach is looking to hire up to 3 interns over a period of 4-5 weeks in June/July.
As part of a collaboration with the Macau Youth League of the UK and Yorkshire Online Academy, we are looking for summer interns to help deliver teaching and outreach activities. You will be preparing material and teaching about Hyperloop and the future of infrastructure to visiting students from Macau. Additionally, you will be helping to organise a South-East Asia based Hyperloop competition - and help teach and guide various student teams online prior to the competition run.
Pay: £1,200 per month with standard work hours (approx 37.5 hrs/wk).
Offices are likely be in King’s Buildings, and the working period can be discussed. Please note that you will have to be in Edinburgh from 5th July-11th July to deliver teaching.
If you have:
Teaching/ presentation experience
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Drive and ability to work under own initiative
Good IT skills - Office suite and ability to use Skype
Excellent knowledge of Hyperloop
Interest in infrastructure and sustainability
Enthusiasm to teach
